A plein air sketch from a windy ridge in the southern area of ​​the Cerro Catedral massif.

A few weeks later this sketch made it home and I painted it outside on a rare sunny February day in Western Washington.

The warm tones and gentle purple shadows contrast the jagged granite spires.
